About Us
In 2007, Healthy Connections received a new grant to open another community health center in Mt. Ida - the Montgomery County Community Clinic. M.C.C.C. opened in December of 2007 and is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary and preventative medical services. The Clinic also provides diabetic services (DIMES program).
The Clinic is governed by an advisory board comprised of local citizens representative of the demographic mix in the local community. Over 50% of the board members are clients of the center.
M.C.C.C. is a member of Community Health Centers of Arkansas in Little Rock.
The Clinic accepts most forms of insurance; however, no person will be turned away for lack of insurance. Qualified families will be charged according to their total family income. If you are interested in applying for the Sliding Fee Scale program at M.C.C.C., please call to make an appointment with the Financial Counselor.
